Prepare is a modern, exam-aligned English course published by Cambridge University Press & Assessment that pairs teen-appeal themes with focused preparation for the Cambridge English: Young Learners and adult exams—spanning A2 Key for Schools, B1 Preliminary for Schools, B2 First for Schools, and C1 Advanced(through nine graded levels from Pre-A2 to C1). Each level offers a balanced two-book approach—one dedicated to real-world general English and life-ready content, the other focused on exam skills practice—so that engaging narratives and vocabulary go hand in hand with systematic task preparation. With the addition of digital enhancements such as Presentation Plus, Test Generator, Practice Extra, Test & Train, and interactive e‑books—all accessible through Cambridge One—teachers can deliver lively, visually rich lessons while managing mixed-ability classes and tracking exam readiness efficiently. The updated edition, now with two new levels, ensures full coverage for learners of all ages progressing toward Cambridge qualifications.
Our PREPARE Teacher Training is a comprehensive, Cambridge-approved programme available in both online live sessions and face-to-face workshops. Led by Cambridge-accredited trainers, and often joined by one of the course’s in-house authors (e.g., Annette Capel, Niki Joseph or Helen Chilton), this interactive training immerses participants in the course’s “English-meets-Exams” philosophy, enabling them to harness teen-appeal themes and seamlessly blend general English with exam skills preparation for A2 Key for Schools through C1 Advanced stages. Trainees get hands-on experience using the full course kit—including the Student’s Book, Workbook, and Teacher’s Book—while testing materials and author-led “macro-plan” walkthroughs of mixed-ability delivery strategies. Practical workshops also cover Presentation Plus, Test & Train, Practice Extra, Test Generator, and online Workbook tools on Cambridge One, allowing teachers to design interactive lesson flows, craft differentiated tasks, and embed authentic exam tasks with ease. The result: educators leave fully equipped to deliver Prepare confidently, with both pedagogical depth and digital fluency, empowering students to achieve exam success and communicate effectively in real-world contexts.
