Dr. Marcus Chen specializes in bilingual literacy development and applied phonetics in multilingual settings. With a strong background in teacher education, he has led numerous cross-border initiatives to support phonics instruction in East Asia. As a consultant, Dr. Chen brings a deep understanding of phonics integration in ESL and EFL classrooms.
Sue Lloyd is an internationally respected educator and one of the pioneering co-authors of Jolly Phonics, a globally adopted synthetic phonics program that has transformed the way children learn to read and write. With a strong foundation in early literacy education, she partnered with Chris Jolly to develop this multisensory, child-friendly approach, which is now used in over 150 countries. Sue has authored a wide range of teaching materials—from pupil books to teacher guides—and has played a key role in training educators worldwide to effectively implement phonics in the classroom.

He earned his PhD 2017–2022 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship 2021–2023 at the University of Wollongong, receiving top honours at both institutions for excellence in teaching and research. Dr. Zhao has published over 30 SCI/EI-indexed papers, holds nearly ten patents in intelligent speech and education technologies, and was nominated for a Best Paper award at the Asia-Pacific Signal Processing Summit. As one of the first officially certified Chinese trainers of Pearson’s PTE Academic, he co-founded MindRudder Online Education and BrightSword English, merging phoneme-based phonics theory with AI-enhanced exam strategies to help over 1,000 students reach their target scores.
