As a visiting scholar at the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, Dr. Jimmy Liu, Co-founder of the Global Phonics and Literacy Research Centre (GPLRC) and CEO of Ad Astra Education Sci-tech Group, delivered an inspiring keynote speech to a distinguished audience, which included the British Ambassador.
Dr. Liu was invited in recognition of his outstanding achievements as the First Prize Winner of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Award in China. His address highlighted the critical role of innovation, education, and international collaboration in shaping the future of literacy and learning. Drawing on his extensive experience across academia, business, and technology—including previous work with Microsoft, China Everbright Bank, and Fudan University—Dr. Liu emphasized the importance of bridging research and practice to generate scalable impact.
